Where do they think they live? How can a political candidate that is an attorney not know about Copyright infringement?

This says so much about the type of people running for office in the R. Party.

Chris Christie, Republican candidate from New Jersey created an election commercial that steals copyright-protected material from Monty Python without permission or credit.

Taking a long overdue vacation to the wilds of Frankfurt and Amsterdam. Investigating the meanderings of a mildly lost magician and then a delightful romp thru the streets and canals of Amsterdam. The IBC show is in town and it will be fun to see all the new technology used in the broadcast industry. I am hoping to have lots of fun!  While I was visiting NY I wondered into a lovely place in Greenwich Village. With all the atmosphere of a class act and the ‘ole’ village friendlyness I was overwhelmed with good time and great food. Check it out! Cornelia Street Cafe, 29 Cornelia St. Greenwich Village NYC

Good food, good wine and great company,

I am constanting trying to stay focused on my projects but always find obnoxious media

crossing in front of me uninvited. I try and walk around or not pay attention but then

another ad/banner/commercial sticks it’s head in front of me. What shall I do?

I want to find a way to avoid this unsettling annoyance without leaving my city

and cultural oasis. Nouveau Recluse! A new beginning for all of us that want a change

from this mundane barrage of garbage stuck in front of us all day.

We are all confronted at times in our lives with the option of leaving behind the very things we strive so hard to acquire. The material objects that mean so much to us at times and then we realize we never really needed them in the first place. We are fascinated by the ads and captivated by the idea of getting something ‘NEW’.
All of this never really satisfies what we think it is going to satisfy. We are left with an empty feeling that some how cannot be ‘fixed’ no matter how much stuff we buy.
George Carlin once did a wonderful routine about ’stuff’. We are always buying ’stuff’ and then taking the ’stuff’ on vacation only to get more ’stuff’. This is what I mean when I say we must think about leaving it all behind. Those ‘things’ don’t make us really happy!
Find a quiet place and rest your head in your hands and think about what really makes you happy. I am sure it won’t be the many things you bought in the last year that you thought were going to make you really happy. Go read a book and relax. That is something that will bring you more pleasure and it is really much cheaper.

Time Will Tell

Today I saw a headline on the cover of NY Daily News about the ‘ups and downs’ of the Obama and Michelle marriage. Why do they have to make us think about the relationship of our leader when we really should be reading about what he has planned for medical insurance and North Korean nuclear build up. The papers do nothing to improve the intelligence of the culture but merely write what sells!
